GOUld’s Revival

. Through the efforts of Arizona Game and Fish, the US Forest Service, the Centro Ecologico de Sonora, the NWTF, and a variety of other partners, the Gould’s has made a comeback to the sky islands of Arizona. With original transplants coming from Mexico in the 1980s, the Gould’s restoration story embodies the spirit of conservation and ingenuity that we need in today’s climate. Despite tremendous obstacles, the program has been a resounding success due to the hard work of state and federal agencies, NWTF volunteers, and private citizens.
